In 1998, Keiko Mecheri introduced her first fragrance, Loukhoum, a crossroad of cultures that mirrored the couple’s globetrotting lifestyle and medley of North American, the Orient, and Japanese roots.
A marriage of delicacy, sweetness and opulence, obtained with candied rose petals, white almonds and ambery notes, it is inspired by the Turkish delight “rahat loukhoum.”
With its heady addictiveness, Loukhoum was an inspiring forerunner in the trend for gourmand notes.
