this was a true meet cute for me. i was perusing a sale at a local perfume shop the summer of 2023 and i found one bottle of this tucked behind loads of Acqua di Parma bottles. i had heard a lot of great things about Keiko Mecheri that year so i gave it a sniff and.. holy smokes!

it’s nothing like any other perfume i have or that i have tried. it’s juicy, it’s sporty and it’s kind of sexy - like a mysterious librarian with thick thighs and a previous tennis career.

it’s definitely a unisex scent, almost androgynous, which is great for me personally as i like to radiate both feminine and masculine energies.

as for longevity i find this one lasts an entire day on my skin and for MONTHS on clothes (even after washing) - which i love because eh it smells fantastic!

however, it was a bittersweet moment because i went back to buy another bottle i was told it was sold out in every store and that the chain was not restocking any of Keiko Mecheri further. i have been on the hunt for almost three years to get another bottle, if not two, because to me this is the perfect scent. it’s everything i want and nothing can match it.

please please please Keiko, don’t keep my heart broken. i crave another bottle more than anything else.

My absolute favourite perfume of all time! I fell in love at first sniff whilst visiting Taormina in Sicily in my 20's andit has been my special occasion signature scent since. It is spicy, herbal, woody, sweet, ethereal and truly the most unique and magical perfume and I am beyond devastated that this has now been discontinued and extremely difficult to source in Europe! Please Keiko, reconsider?
